Working very closely with the Town of Needham, CC&F identified the need for modern, multi-faceted housing to support the growing technology workforce of the surrounding business park and area. The resulting 350 unit Charles River Landing project is one of the largest and highest quality multifamily developments along Rt. 128/I-95. The Town itself sponsored a unique form of project approval, the Local Initiative Program, which allowed greater height and density than permitted under conventional zoning. CC&F also collaborated with Massachusetts to create new improvements along the Charles River for recreation and waterfront enjoyment. The project was sold after programming and permitting in 2007. Today, the project enjoys continuing vibrant occupancy and success.
