Jay Doherty

Chief Executive Officer

Jay Doherty began his career at Cabot, Cabot & Forbes in 1981 as a project manager and held a succession of staff and managerial positions, culminating in his promotion to president of the firm in 1998. Jay has served as Chairman of the Massachusetts chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the leading voice for commercial real estate in Massachusetts, and is currently a Chairman of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee of The Massachusetts Business Roundtable (MBR). Jay graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1981 and with a BA from Middlebury College in 1975.

John P. Doherty

Chief Financial Officer

John has been with Cabot, Cabot & Forbes since 2001. He is responsible for maintaining corporate and property management financial systems. He also oversees the budgeting, project requisition and financial reporting processes for all CC&F properties. Prior to CC&F, John worked for The Community Builders, Inc. and Ernst & Young. John graduated from Assumption College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Accounting and Mathematics.

John Sullivan

Executive Vice President

At CC&F, John oversees acquisition, permitting, financing and construction activities. Prior to joining CC&F, John was a Project Manager for Bovis Lend Lease in Boston, working on projects that include the InterContinental Hotel & Residences, the repositioning of 179 Lincoln St., Merck’s Longwood Research and Laboratory Center and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences. Most recently, John worked as a project manager for Urban Edge, where he primarily focused on the Jackson Square Redevelopment Initiative, a mixed-use, mixed-income, transit-oriented development in Boston. John holds a MS is Real Estate Development from MIT and graduated with honors from Lafayette College with degrees in Engineering Management and Economics & Business.

Daniel B. Nagler

Executive Vice President – Director of Capital Markets

Daniel is responsible for leading the capital market strategy and planning activities at CC&F. This includes securing equity and debt for new and existing real estate projects, structuring and negotiating agreements with capital partners, and providing on-going investor relations for the firm. Additional responsibilities include identifying, underwriting and acquiring new projects, and providing investment analysis for properties within the firm’s portfolio. In complement to these responsibilities, Daniel provides debt placement services through his affiliate AIP Investments, Inc.

Prior to CC&F, Daniel was a Founding Partner of Andean Investment Partners, a real estate firm focused on investments and developments in Lima, Peru. Prior to Andean, Daniel worked in acquisitions and asset management at Taurus Investment Holdings, an international private equity real estate firm headquartered in Boston. Daniel received a B.A. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Allie Sullivan

Vice President

At CC&F, Allie oversees asset management and operations of current projects. Her responsibilities include conducting market research, oversight of current project’s performance, providing input and developing strategies for the operation team’s, assisting with underwriting potential opportunities, and assisting with all phases of the development process. Prior to joining CC&F, Allie served as regional manager at Bozzuto and Alliance Residential Company, where she managed luxury portfolios in both New York and Massachusetts, overseeing a total of 2500+ units, 8 lease ups and 4 dispositions, implementing first-class living experiences and participating extensively in new business opportunities. Most recently, Allie worked as general manager at Samuels & Associates on a mixed-use development in Allston, MA. Allie is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) Candidate and a 2017 NAIOP Leadership Institute Graduate.

Jacob Vance

Senior Development Manager

As Senior Development Manager, Jacob helps with all stages of development from deal sourcing and permitting, to the ongoing management of current projects. His responsibilities include conducting market research, underwriting potential opportunities, and corresponding with all members of the development team. Prior to joining CC&F, Jacob served as an analyst within the institutional advisory services department at Cary Street Partners. Jacob graduated Lafayette College where he earned the Certificate of Financial Policy & Analysis along with a major in Economics & Business and a minor in Government/Law.

 

Shaun Sullivan

Development Manager

Shaun joined CC&F with over 5 years of Construction Management experience. Previously, Shaun worked as a Project Manager for Gilbane Building Company, working on a variety of projects including the renovation and expansion of Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art Building 6 in North Adams MA, Reebok Headquarters in the Innovation & Design Building & PTC Headquarters at 121 Seaport Blvd in Boston’s Seaport District. Most recently, Shaun worked as Project Manager for the 225 Wyman St Project in Waltham MA. A 500,000 sq ft ground-up Life Science & Office Building along route 128. Shaun is a Graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Matt D'Amico

Development Manager

As a Development Manager at Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, Matt coordinates all aspects of the development process from deal sourcing through construction. Matt also assists with CC&F’s exploratory market research in life sciences, co-living, and more. Matt joined CC&F as a Development Intern during his last semester at UMass Amherst where he received a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Community Development (Urban Studies Concentration) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Hayley Glidden

Assistant Project Manager

Hayley joined CC&F with over 4 years of experience in the banking industry. She was an Executive Assistant at CC&F for a year and a half and in April of 2023 she was promoted to Assistant Project Manager. Her duties include assisting the project managers in all aspects of the development process from deal sourcing through construction. Prior to CC&F, Hayley worked for Cape Cod 5 and Santander Bank.
Jordan Chapman

Summer Intern

Jordan has joined CC&F for the summer as an intern. She has previously interned at architecture firms such as SCB and GMT Home Designs. She recently graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Architecture and will be going back for her masters in the fall. 

MaryKate Joyce

Administrative Assistant

As the Administrative Assistant, MaryKate has many duties, including, but not limited to; assisting the CEO, CFO, and Project Managers with scheduling, coordination, and organizational needs in the office. MaryKate joined CC&F shortly after graduating FAU with a Bachelors in Finance. She came with experience working at Fidelity as a Customer Relationship Advocate. 

Lauren Jezienicki

Lauren is the CEO and Founder of One Circle Co., a woman-owned development firm, working closely and collaboratively with the CC&F team on a selection of their multifamily, mixed-use and TOD projects in the greater Boston area. 

 

Prior to starting One Circle Co., Lauren served as Senior Vice President of Development at Bozzuto Development Company launching the company’s New England development pipeline of nearly 2,000,000 square feet. Notably, Lauren was responsible for redevelopment of the MBTA’s seven-acre North Quincy Red Line Station parking lot into a new MBTA parking garage, 610 apartment residents and 45,000 square feet of ground floor retail including an urban-format Target store.

 

Prior to Bozzuto, Lauren worked at The JBG Companies (now JBG Smith) in Bethesda, Maryland, where she served as a Vice President of Development and was responsible for the underwriting, design, entitlement, construction, and delivery of nearly one million square feet of urban multifamily projects. Lauren graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s in business administration and Columbia University with a master’s in business administration. She is a Fitwel Ambassador and active member of NAIOP Massachusetts and the Urban Land Institute. Lauren also serves on the Advisory Council for the Design Museum Foundation.
